COVID-19 Guidance for Clients

Uncategorized // March 6, 2020 //

At In-Flight Crew Connections, we value the health and well-being of our client passengers and flight crew members. As the COVID-19 virus (aka “Coronavirus”) spreads throughout the world, we want to do what we can to ensure the health of all parties concerned. This document details the actions we are taking today.

1) All crew members have been provided with CDC guidance regarding COVID-19, including its symptoms and how to avoid contamination.
2) All crew members have been instructed about how to handle sick travelers.
3) All crew members have been provided with guidance to ensure they do not accept trips if they are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19

IFCC / Client Cooperation
IFCC is also asking for our client cooperation to ensure a safe and healthy flight.
1) Aircraft Travel History: IFCC requests that our clients disclose trip history for aircraft that have flown in, out or within countries that the CDC has designated as impacted by widespread or sustained community transmission. As of 2/28/2020, this list includes China, Iran, Italy, Japan and South Korea. Our Scheduling department will begin requesting this information immediately. Information that you provide will be shared with crew members during the scheduling process so that our employees can make an educated decision when accepting a trip assignment.
2) Reporting of a Sick Passenger: As in any situation, IFCC has reminded crew to report a sick passenger to the pilot in command before landing.
3) Use of Personal Protective Equipment: IFCC has authorized its crew to use personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves if a passenger is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath).
4) Exposure: If an IFCC crew member is diagnosed with COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19, IFCC will notify all clients who have been in contact with that crew member over the past 14 days.
