IFCC is hiring for an internal key role in the company! The Director of Business Development reports to the CEO and manages the daily sales operations, marketing initiatives, and a dynamic portfolio of accounts and business opportunities.

We are looking for a strategic maximizer and a communicative servant-leader to take our team to the next level! The Director of Business Development is ultimately accountable and responsible for the overall sales performance of the organization.

Essential functions:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sales team including coaching and counseling, one-on-one meetings, individual and team performance, and various other team leadership duties.
  • Develop and implement annual sales goals, to be approved by leadership.
  • Develop and manage a zero-based budget for Sales and Marketing functions.
  • Guide the development of the annual marketing plan to include marketing messages, strategies, expense projections, and budget to support the IFCC brand and enhance sales performance.
  • Be an active member of the executive team and participate in strategic planning as a thought leader on revenue growth and client experience maximization.
  • Develop and build best sales practices and processes that drive exceptional service and client satisfaction.
  • Proactively develop and execute new sales strategies to build a prospect list and grow new business.
  • Review and refine all types of lead generation methods, including the use of marketing activities (trade shows, campaigns, voicemail drop, etc.) to generate and/or close leads and integrate methods into the team sales process.
  • Develop strategy around trade show participation and other various networking events to create new client leads and contacts.
  • Manage the optimization of the sales funnel from identifying opportunities to conversion.
  • Set an example for the team by demonstrating excellent client relationship management and prospecting practices.
  • Achieve assigned individual revenue and account development goals as well as ensure the sales team achieves their respective goals.
  • Lead the weekly sales meeting and daily business development calls.
  • Develop cadence of existing and lost – client engagements and share internally to drive awareness and change as needed
  • Review and manage team utilization of the CRM and ATS systems to ensure data integrity and proper internal communication.
  • Define contact and account quality standards and document them in the company’s CRM system.
  • Monitor team and individual performance metrics, making improvements as needed.
  • Review and approve new opportunity RFPs as initiated by Sales Team.
  • Ensure that all client retainer agreements are properly priced, documented, communicated, and maintained.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, and/or Marketing or at least 10 years of Sales experience.
  • Staffing Industry experience required.
  • 5+ years leading high-performance sales teams.
  • Demonstrated experience meeting/exceeding sales goals and creating sales strategies to improve topline performance.
  • A proven record of selling to large and small organizations as well as C-suite to small flight departments.
  • Experience with managing departmental budgets; familiarity with zero-based budgeting is a plus.


  • Strong communication and leadership skills are required.
  • Exceptional listening skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to problem-solve is essential.
  • Must be comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and have a get-it-done attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate up and down through the organization as a servant-leader.
  • Skilled at building rapport and understanding the business requirements of senior decision-makers within the Business Aviation industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 environment, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Proficiency in the use of a CRM tool to guide daily activities and monitor progress.
  • Business aviation experience is a plus.
  • Willing to travel (25% – 30%) as needed to key client locations, tradeshows, and networking events throughout the year.

Physical/Working conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds at times.
