Pilot – Corporate Aviation

As a PIC or SIC you will be responsible for successfully operating aircraft systems and procedures, including pre and post flight checks, logs, and duties, to provide a safe and efficient flying experience for our clients.

Responsibilities include (but may not be limited to):

  • Successfully perform the required duties to operate the aircraft as the pilot in command (PIC) or second in command (SIC) of flights scheduled for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations pertaining to actual flight, qualifications, currency and fitness for flight as well as aircraft compliance.
  • Follow established procedures for reporting irregularities during flights, ground checks, and maintaining records.
  • Ensure all client and FAA required pre and post flight inspections and duties are performed.
  • Remain compliant with schedules, and other directives governing the aircraft's operation.
  • Ensure that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers.
  • Work with the client’s dispatch and chief pilot to make decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate.
  • Specific requirements may vary by client.

Required Qualifications- General:

  • Must have current experience in corporate aviation
  • Must possess a valid ATP License preferably with multi-engine land.
  • Minimum of Total Flight Hours: 3500 to fly as PIC
  • Minimum Total Flight Hours: 2500 to fly as SIC
  • Minimum Time Multi-Engine: 750
  • Minimum Time Fixed Wing: 750
  • Minimum Time Rotary Wing: 750 (helicopter only)
  • Current Medical Certification (1st Class preferred)
  • RVSM preferred
  • International Procedures training preferred
  • Strong communication, problem solving and established self-direction are essential for this position.
  • Possess a sincere desire to assist customers, flight attendants, and be a part of a team.

Required Qualifications- Aircraft Specific:

  • 12-Month current training in one or more business jets
  • Total Time In Type: 50

Desired Qualifications:

  • FCC Radio License preferred
  • CPDLC preferred
  • Training in simulator preferred

Language Ability:

Ability to speak to, read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of aircraft-specific avionics and onboard systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, and use hands. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. This position could potentially be located anywhere within the continental United States, and will involve travel.
